Joey Rozek
Lead Pastor, Living Springs Fellowship / Freehold, NJ
The Lord set Joey apart from a young age and filled his life with a passion for Christ toward an overflowing life of sharing God’s Word and inspiring others toward a lifestyle of Gospel living in making disciple-making disciples. After over 22 years of pastoral ministry, Joey has served as a youth pastor, assistant pastor, evangelist, and Bible teacher from the west coast at the original Calvary Chapel in Southern California to the east coast in Old Bridge, New Jersey, and then overseas in the UK where he served as the founding lead pastor of a Christ-centered, multicultural, Bible-teaching church in Cambridge, England for over a decade. Currently, Joey is the lead pastor of Living Springs Fellowship where he is passionate about equipping believers to be authentic followers of Christ and active participants in the life of the church. He resides in Freehold with His wife Tiffany and three children: Madelyn, Josiah, and Jordan
Chris Lin
Worship Leader, Anthem Church / Edison, NJ
Chris is currently serving as a full-time campus staff member and worship leader with SOON Movement/Cru. The two campuses he serves at now are Rutgers University and Columbia University in New York. He is also a worship leader at Anthem church in NJ. Back in 2019, he was supposed to assist with worship at Equip, but he had already committed to running a half-marathon in Brooklyn that same weekend (where he recorded his personal best!). This year, no races will be ran, and he will be back at Equip leading worship with his recently engaged fiancé Stephanie.
Dan Terracciano
Pastor, Lincroft Bible Church / Lincroft, NJ
Having grown up in Middletown, Dan has a heart for the area, and especially, college students. During his summers home from college, Dan developed LBC’s college ministry called SPUR. After graduating from Geneva College in December 2008 with a degree in Student Ministry, Dan joined the CCO (Coalition for Christian Outreach) in the summer of 2009. He works in partnership with LBC as a College Minister to reach college-age students. Dan, his wife Emily, their son, Micah, and their three daughters, Analise, Madelyn, and Selah serve together at LBC.
Jim Quigley
Pastor, Faith Bible Church / Jackson, NJ
Pastor Jim Quigley was born and raised in New Jersey and is the youngest of four kids. He went to Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering. He then moved to Connecticut to work at Hamilton Sundstrand where he designed engine control systems for military fighter jets and commercial aircraft. While in Connecticut, he founded and advised the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Trinity College, where he led weekly Bible studies and discipled college students. He also met his beautiful wife Holly and they eventually got married in 2013. The Lord had other plans for him, however, and five years after he came to Connecticut, Jim and Holly moved to South Hamilton, Massachusetts so that he could attend Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. In May 2016, he graduated from seminary with his Master of Divinity. Pastor Jim is passionate about proclaiming the amazing truth of the Word of God, of seeing peoples’ lives transformed by the gospel of grace, and walking alongside people as they seek the Lord. In his spare time, Pastor Jim loves sports (volleyball, rowing, tennis) and being outside (hiking, white water rafting). He also enjoys board games, cards, cooking, eating, and rooting for the New York Football Giants.
Jack McDonald
Pastor, Grace Bible Church / Allenwood, NJ
Jack was raised in North Bangor, New York. The Lord used the faithful witness and example of his grandparents to lead Jack to himself. After graduating St. Lawrence University, where he studied to be a math teacher, Jack moved to Los Angeles to study at the Master’s Seminary in preparation for full time ministry. There, Jack and his wife Karen served in the college ministry of Grace Community Church at USC. They came to New Jersey in 2013 so Jack could serve as associate pastor/elder over Youth, Children's, and Technology ministries at Grace Bible Church in Allenwood, NJ.
Bri Merriman
North Shore Fellowship at Bell Works / Holmdel, NJ
Brianna Merriman (Bri) is so excited to be a part of the Equip team this year! Having been raised in a Christian household and growing in her personal faith throughout her life, she understands the value of young adult fellowship and is thankful that she gets to help deliver this annual conference in a new digital format. After graduating from Monmouth University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Bri worked as a radio host, voiceover artist, and studio board operator on 94.3 the Point. She is now working as an early childhood educator while earning her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching Students with Disabilities at Georgian Court University. Fast facts about Bri: her all-time favorite TV show is The Office, she loves pasta, and she has two mini golden doodles that she loves dearly. She has an entire rap song memorized that is all about the Presidents of the United States. She can’t really whistle, but she can sing. Do your best impression for her (of anyone at all, ever) and tell her about your favorite pair of socks, and you’ll make a friend for life.
Chris Pascarella
Pastor, Lincroft Bible Church / Lincroft, NJ
Chris grew up at Lincroft Bible Church and has now been on staff for eight years. He earned his M.Div from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY and is currency pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Biblical Theology from Southern. He has been married to Heather for eleven years and they have two children, Roman (6) and Ruthanne (3).
Nick Bowden
Teacher, Minister & Creative, Breakthrough Church / Neptune, NJ
Nicholas Bowden is a teacher, ministry leader and creative. Currently residing in Neptune, NJ Nicholas serves under Breakthrough Church led by Pastor Mac and Patricia Bowden. He is on the leadership team for A.LIFE a college ministry on Rutgers and Kean University and serves as chairman of the Youth and Discipleship board for the international denomination Church of God in New Jersey. Of all the ministries Nicholas assists with there is none more gratifying than his role as husband and father to his beautiful wife Emily and their daughter Mya.
Sergio Fossa
College & Career Group Leader, Grace Bible Church / Allenwood, NJ
Sergio Fossa has been a middle school music teacher for 18 years after graduating from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University in 2003. He has served at several ministries at Grace Bible Church where he attends with his family, including youth ministry, worship leading, college/career singles ministry, and leadership as a deacon and elder. He currently resides in Toms River with his lovely wife and four children.
Emily Terracciano
Women’s Ministry Leader, Lincroft Bible Church / Lincroft, NJ
Emily grew up in Indiana. The Lord saved her as a young child and she has been devoting herself to him since early in life. Emily attended Geneva College and majored in English education. While in college she served as a young life leader reaching out to high school students. It was there that she met her husband, but spent a year overseas teaching English at a university as a platform for sharing the gospel before they were married. Emily continues to live out a calling to make disciples by raising up three young children (soon to be four) in the Lord. Emily has a passion for women to know and love the Word of God. She has led a ministry for young moms called MOPS for several years and is currently leading a Bible study ministry for women called Women of the Word. In addition, she has also published a children's curriculum called "Little Hearts Little Hands" along with some friends. She loves a good cup of coffee, a quality conversation, and spending time with friends.
Meghan Salas
Staff, Apex Missions / Lincroft, NJ
More or less a New Jersey Native, Meghan has a passion for the local church, missions, and college students. After several mid length missions trips in early college, the Lord made clear a calling to step into vocational ministry here in New Jersey. She currently serves on staff with Apex Missions in partnership with Lincroft Bible Church, as a campus ministry staff working to engage college aged believers with the Great Commission call to "Go and Tell". Meghan and her (new) husband Sam are dreaming big about what God can do through young adults in the local church, when they really understand discipleship, missional ministry, and their giftings from the Lord.
Jon Sgalambro
Pastor, Redeemer Fellowship / Toms River, NJ
Jon was born in Brooklyn, NY, but has spent the better part of his life in New Jersey. He grew up in Lincroft, NJ, and his childhood consisted of playing guitar and hanging out with friends. He was raised Roman Catholic, but he personally didn’t take any of it too seriously. He believed in God, but he didn’t really have any use for him. It wasn’t until high school that he started thinking more deeply about spiritual things. He became a Christian toward the end of high school and headed to Bible college after graduation. It was there where he met his wife Deanna. They have three beautiful children, Nathan (10), Elisabeth (7), and Joshua (4). He graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in May of 2020, and has been serving as the Lead Pastor of Teaching and Discipleship at Redeemer Fellowship in Toms River, NJ since July of 2019. He is passionate about Jesus, the Scriptures, my family, and making pizza.
Hoon Kim
Pastor, Anthem Church / Edison, NJ
Hoon Kim grew up in Milan, Italy and came to the US to finish high school in Pennsylvania. He then graduated from Lehigh University, where he also received Christ at a Campus Crusade retreat. At the same retreat, he also received a call to ministry. He is a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary and is now preparing to launch Anthem Church in the Fall of 2021 with a fantastic team of families and young adults, in or near the Edison region. He is the author of Creative Bible Studies in the Book of Genesis (Zondervan) and 365 Devotions for Teens (Abingdon Press). He enjoys football (aka soccer) coffee but most of all loves spending time with his wife Shelly and their 3 kids, Sean, Liam and Colin.
